Baracuta guide: history and collection
Baracuta was founded in 1937 in Manchester by the Miller brothers. In 1938 came the G9, the short jacket inspired by golf jackets that would become known worldwide as the «Harrington». It has been worn by Elvis Presley, Steve McQueen and Frank Sinatra, among others. Since 2012 the brand has belonged to the Italian company WP Lavori in Corso, and the G9 in Baracuta Cloth is still made in the United Kingdom.
In the collection you will find, for example, the G9 in Melton, the tobacco suede blouson, the antique white Shetland sweater and the Hunting Check tartan scarf.
How to choose: outerwear is also chosen by layers; if you will wear it over thick knitwear, consider one size up.
